So Much
For Never

When “never” stops working

Faded jeans, sneakers and a completely unpredictable arrival. This story had every chance of ending with “definitely not my type”. Instead, there is infatuation, contradiction and no room to think about anyone else.

So Much For Never brings together the dance-floor energy of British pop, a tight pop-funk groove and a familiar kind of humour: sometimes our most categorical promises to ourselves are the first to fall apart.

“So much for never—look at me now.”
